A refined identity built around warmth, restraint, and craft.
A refined identity built around warmth, restraint, and craft.
A founder-led boutique brand that needed a logo as considered as the product itself.
The brief was small but exacting: design a logo that does the entire job. No symbol-plus-tagline-plus-slogan. No clever device that needs to be explained. One refined mark, designed to live across packaging, signage, and digital — and to feel as deliberate at 24px as it does at full size.
We led with typography. The wordmark is set in Bogart — a serif with confidence and warmth in equal measure — paired with a small organic mark that echoes the lowercase 'k' without trying too hard. The palette is restrained: warm coffee brown, dark espresso, and a soft cream that lets everything breathe.
A complete identity in eight hours of focused design time. A logo that the founder uses everywhere without needing to apologise — and a style guide that means the brand will still look consistent in three years' time.
The logo does exactly what I wanted it to — and nothing it shouldn't. It feels warm without being twee. Considered without being cold.
A 20-minute call. No pressure, no pitch deck. We'll figure out if we're a fit — and you'll leave with at least one useful idea either way.
